Round Two...

My modeling process began to slowly pickup after getting some progress down. I began modeling more by starting with the polygon objects then adding splits and extruding the primitives/ faces (I still do not know modeling lingo).

At this moment, I was still white-boxing the scene and getting the basic structures of the objects. Then I realized that the foreground wall and arch I created was terrible, so I redid them. I added a new cube to the scene and redid the wall using the techniques I picked up while working. As for the arch, I used the curve tool to recreate the entire piece. I left the curves as a polygon to extrude the primitive and made edits, if need be. Once completed, I converted it into NURBS.

After completing the two structures, I began working on a door by using a cube polygon and then adding splits and extruding parts (a similar method as the wall). I also created a window for the foreground using the similar method. I attempted to do the same for a window in the back of the scene, but every time I wanted to extrude one of the faces Houdini crashed. So, I decide to work on the back wall with no issues, but when I wanted to extrude, crash. I resolved the issue by copying the primitive and then putting it into a new scene (I did the same with the window). After I imported the objects in the scene, I was able to manipulate the extruded pieces without issues, which I found strange.

Estimated time in Houdini: 8+ hours
