Flat boxes

For this model, I mainly used a paint brush to create patterns and such and then added a bit of grunge on top. I made four different versions.

Middle boxes

For the middle boxes, I textured them with my usual process: start with a fill layer for the base and only have the color and roughness channels checked. Then I created a black mask, so that I could block out the box on the right since the objects are on the same texture set. This allowed me to paint freely on the white box without worrying about messing with the two other boxes, which I painted on top using a watercolor brush.

Pencil-holder

The pencil-holder model has two texture sets: one for the cup and the other for the pencils and pen. Texturing the cup was simple. I just used a color/rough fill layer and then added a grunge layer on top. The pencils took some time since I had to create a black mask to separate the pen. Also, since the objects are so close to each other, painting one object often painted the other object as well.
